Safety
- Sparks from Welding are very brights and can hurt your eyes
- Don't leave a welding stick on a metal table or unattended.
- The metal is very hot after welding, If you would like to touch the metal, touch it with your heavy duty gloves.
- If you burn yourself, run the burn under cold water for 30 seconds, gently dry, and apply a small amount of burn gel to the affected area and cover with a bandaid (burn gel and bandaids are located in the first aid kit in the kitchen). If you have any questions or the burn seems severe, alert a lab director immediately.
- It is important that you weld in a well ventilated area
- Wash your hands throughly with soap and water after handling leaded solder.
Guide
 make sure you are dressed the correct way to atarte welding. NO hair in the way. no open toes shoes, no long sleeves in the way. |  make sure you are wearing the right clothes (Helmet, gloves, coat/apron) |  turn on the welding machine, the deal can be changed depending on the material that you are welding on. |  Add the welding stick to the machines gun/handle |
 use metal sheets to practice your welding lines. |  after you finish your lines tap your ines with a hammer |  use a wired brush to brush the extra top coat of your weld | |

Tips
- It is good to practice your welds before welding your projects together.
- Pull on the solder joint -before- heating the heat shrink to make sure that you have a strong joint.
- Remember to let the soldering iron and reflow gun cool down before returning them to the shelves.
