HBL Lamp

The HackBerry Lab Lamp is a three dimensional PCB (printed circuit board) lamp that was designed in EasyEDA. It features 90 NeoPixels along its inner walls, the HackBerry logo, and is topped off with a piece of black acrylic.

Iso-Hero

Iso-Hero is an interactive video game, based on the classic Guitar Hero, that teaches the player about isomers. It consists of three levels with increasing difficulty in which the user places structures of an isomer one at a time in their correct spaces.

Acid Etch PCBs

Due to complications resulting from the coronavirus, we were unable to order PCBs (printed circuit boards). So, I made my own! Using ferric chloride and a laser printer, PCB files were etched on to FR4 (copper plated) boards.

PCB Lightning Round

For this Hackathon, I wanted to see how many PCBs I could design in four hours. A total of four were completed: the Death Star, the Coca-Cola logo, a piece of (PINEAPPLE) pizza, and the Starfleet commander's badge.

Vest

This project was a vest that I made from scratch, starting with creating a bodice pattern with my measurements. The goal was to use conductive thread and PCBs to sew NeoPixels on to the back, but there were unfortunate complications with the electronics.

Conductive Ink

We attempted to make our own conductive ink: the first go-round ended up this very horrible smelling goo monstrosity. The second, we were able to paint on skin and fabric working circuits. The main issue was flexibility, as it began to crack when dry.

Embroidered Interfaces

For this project, we created three designs for embroidered interfaces using conductive thread.
